Several electric scooter companies also operate in the city.

For taxis, Uber and Bolt operate in Norway, and the local taxi company is TrønderTaxi AS.

Accessibility

Most public spaces in Norway have good accessibility (ramps, elevators, etc.). Please, do let us know if you have any accessibility needs that we should to take into consideration or any queries in this regard. Some sessions in the program have been designed as walking activities, but we will keep in mind flexibility and required adjustments.

Regarding language accessibility, most signs in the city are in Norwegian without English translation, but you can easily use the camera option with Google translator, or ask locals, which are mostly fluent in English.

Resting and Nursing rooms

In case you need it, you can find information on the rooms available for resting and nursing in the different campuses in this page (available in Norwegian only, but you can use the translation option in your browser).

Weather and Clothing

We are currently expecting between 9°C and 17°C with high probability of light precipitations during that week, but please note that the weather in Norway is very changeable and temperatures can drop, so consider bringing sufficient clothing options. You can check weather forecast updates for Trondheim here.

We will be taking walks during some of the workshops, so remember to bring appropriate outdoor clothing such as walking/hiking shows, and items such as water bottles if possible. Note that it is also possible to swim in the fjord and pools in the city, so you can also pack swimwear if desired.

Allergies

Please, communicate to us if you have any severe allergies we must take into account, and inform us if you are coming to Trondheim with any non-human companion that could cause allergic reactions to others.
